Scary Street View

So here's the 411... Google Maps rocks. It's fast. When they included satellite-hybrid view, I thought "how scary cool, I knew they rocked!"

Now that they have "Street View" my thought is "How Scary?" Check it out sometime. I thought it was limited to only big cities, but now it's pretty consistent with suburbs too.

In my neighborhood, I noticed a friend and his wife jogging with their baby stroller and family pet.

What's sort of interesting, is you can combine that data with your local county property assessor's office data, and zillow.com(?), to get a real picture of not only your neighborhood, but pretty much anyone you know.

The nice thing about a lot of government information, is it's in the public domain, but man it's easy to find it now. Forget about standing in long lines at the local county building, or writing a FOIA (freedom of information act) letter.

Just Google it!
