Why live with regrets?

Well I don't want to live with any regrets so that's why I'm going to do X, or not do Y.

What a joke! You've just looked beyond the gift that you are.

Wiktionary defines regret as a verb "to feel sorry about some past thing, wishing it had not happened, but something else instead."

Our lives are defined by everything we've done and everything we do. We make decisions today based upon what we know at the time, buttressed with a lifetime of experience. Those who consistently make good choices could be characterized as "wise." Those who do not, may regret the decisions they've made.

I'm sure no one wants to live with any regrets. No one goes into a decision to regret it, but the fallacy here is you won't know it's a regret until you've done the thing.

Once you've decided that you cannot control the MACRO, and that God (or whomever your spiritual leader is) has a plan for you, it's best to focus on the MICRO and learn to deal with the decisions you've made, and those you are about to make.

It's who you are.

Be yourself. Love your family. Respect your friends. Encourage others.
