How to print flashcards from a presentation

My oldest daughter is an 8th grader.  Her teachers often provide Jeopardy-style presentations to help the students study for a test in a fun/game-like manner.  The presentation is in Microsoft's Powerpoint, PPT, format and is a simple format where slide 1 is the question and slide 2 is the answer.  So I had the bright idea to turn that into an easy set of flashcards she could print out and use for studying.  The below are the steps necessary to accomplish this:

(1) Start with a simple presentation, which is 14 slides in this example.

(2) Next, change the view by selecting "Slide Sorter"

(3) Delete the superfluous slides.  Zoom the view using the CTRL+mouse-scroll-wheel so there are 12 slides in your view -- 6 on top and 6 on bottom.

(4) Now move the slides so that the questions are on top and the corresponding-answers are on bottom.  The original slide numbers are indicated in the upper right of each slide, e.g., old 3 is new 2.

 (5) Now move slides 8, 10 & 12

(6) Infront of slide 2.

(7) When you go to print, I like to print 12 slides at a time, so I select slides 1-12 to print as a "6 Slides Vertical" handouts-format (6 slides per page).  Print on both sides & flip pages on long edge w/ portrait orientation.  Your slides above should look like the below that you can then cut out and use as ready-made flashcards.

Please let me know if you have questions/comments.  Thanks,
