Sushi Eating // Primer

So... I travel a lot.  And I love sushi.  I started eating it at Mr. Sushi in Addison, Texas (www.mrsushidallas.com) when I was 16 (in the 80's).  Anyway, I wanted provide a list of places I've eaten and a reference for myself.

When I'm in a new city, I typically do a Google search on "best sushi in <city>".  I read the reviews and pick a place that is moderately priced and/or interesting from the reviews.

Then when I go to the location, I will order a spicy tuna temaki (hand roll), miso soup, and their most popular maki (normal roll that is 6-8 pieces) that does not have tumpura.  I also stay away from rolls with cream cheese as that is just too "Western" for the cuisine, IMO.

Anyway, feel free to enjoy/follow/comment.

(PS, I wish I had started this years ago, as it would be a lot more interesting having been to the tsukiji fish market in Tokyo where I had seafood miso and tuna sashimi breakfast!).
