So, I opted for a different FTTH provider, AT&T, and bought into the 1Gbps speed. I have YET to update all of my NICs to support 1GbaseT (rather than 10/100 baseT). My wifi devices that support 802.11ac, have seen over 400Mbps. NB: to enjoy fast GPON speeds, you MUST have NIC cards to support. Lesson learned.
Now on to the stats... Below you see a chart of the upload/download speeds for the month of July 2017, taken at hourly intervals (you can see where my internet was installed on or about 10 July 17):
Hourly, it looks all over the place and I'm not sure it's all that better than FC. :(
