Cutting the Cord // Update

So, I'm going to put this off for 1 year as I do more search.  Thus far, I have found the following interesting:

Roku
TiVo
Smart Stream

The last bit is the most interesting as of yet, altough a bit pricey may be worth it to assuage the frustration of trying to figure it out at a lower cost.  One thing is for sure, the initial cost to cut the cord will be a few grand to buy 2 units for each TV w/ at least 2 HDMI ports (3x TV's).  First you will need a TiVo-like item to view local tv and record shows.  And second, you will need a Roku or Smart Stream box to view other streaming services.

Stay tuned.  ;)

(went to a friend's house who had the TiVo item, but limited to 50 or so channels and we couldn't watch college football match.  Picture quality was great, however)
