THIS time I actually bought a TP-Link Gigabit PCI Express Network Adapter (model TG-3468) for my Dell Inspiron 3252 Desktop. The Dell website said this NIC was compatible with my computer. So I threw down the $15 to purchase at Fry's and took my new toy home to try out. (not to scale)
BUT ALAS! No such luck. My current Ethernet RJ45 connection is integrated into the motherboard, as is everything else, and there is not even 1 PCI Express port to install this card into. See here:
